1) Dirty Balls:
Here there are two sets of seven half-balls floating on top of the mud. The contestants have to run over the balls to cross the mud and reach a platform, and then get over the second set to reach the next part of the course. The balls will sink under the weight of the contestants, so they need to move fast to avoid falling in the mud.

2) Sucker Punch:
Next the contestants have to cross a thin ledge against a wall. In the wall are 22 mechanical boxing gloves that will randomly pop out to push the contestants off and into the mud. To help, there are rock-climbing handles on the wall.

3) Big Balls:
This is a row of four giant inflatable rubber balls. To cross a stretch of water, the contestants have to jump from one to another, across the top, to reach a platform at the other end.

4) Ball Swing:
Finally there is another Big Ball, the top covered with a cargo net, hanging by a rope in the air. The contestants need to run down a ramp, jump, grab onto the net and swing on the ball across to a platform. Here they need to let go and land on the platform to finish. If they don't they must swim around it and climb up some steps to the top.

Sweeper - Hoop:
The twelve contestants each stand on a tall podium and have to jump through a hoop on the end of a rotating arm as it sweeps past them. If they don't, they'll be knocked off and out of the game. The arm gets faster and higher the longer it goes on. The last six remaining on their podiums move onto the next round, but the arm continues to rotate until there is just one person left. This last person standing wins $1000.

Dizzy Dummy:
After being given a big Mexican lunch, the six contestants are strapped into a 'human merry-go-round' and spun at speed for a short time. After being released they have to try and reach the other side of a pool of water.
First they must try and make their way across course A. The first person to the other side wins; the losers are spun again. They then have to use course B to make their way across the water. This is repeated again until there are four winners who all move onto the final.
If a contestant falls into the water at any time they must swim back to the beginning and start again.

A) Slippery Snakes:
These are two rows of four big semicircles that contestants need to get across to reach the goal.

B) Barrel Spill:
Here there are 12 barrel-shaped pads half sticking out of the water. The contestants have to jump from one pad to another to reach the finish line. There are always a pair of pads along the way so two contestants can cross at once, apart from the fifth and twelfth ones which are on their own - meaning only one person at a time can get on them.

1) Killer Surf:
To start, the contestants lie on their backs and slide down this tall steep water slide. At the bottom they fly off the end and land in the water below.

2) Barrel Run:
Next, the contestants have to run up a long ramp while jumping over barrels that are being rolled down towards them.

3) Rope Wall:
This is a wall with ropes hanging from the top and a tiny ledge at the bottom. The contestants need to cross this, using the ropes to hold on, to reach the next obstacle.

4) Spinner:
Now the contestants need to jump onto this fast-spinning sloped disk, which is being shot at by a water cannon. There are only two entrances into the Spinner, so the contestants need to time their jump right to get in, or they'll be knocked away. Once on, they have to cross the Spinner to reach the other gap on the opposite side and then leap off to the next obstacle.

5) Launch Pads:
These are four small trampolines spaced out in a row. Each trampoline is at a different height, with the first and third being low down while the second and fourth are high up. The contestants need to jump from one to another, through falling water, and then from the fourth onto the finish platform.
